For those of you looking for information on the company that does Electro-Harmonix guitar pedals, maybe this will help you. Electro-Harmonix makes electronic audio processors. It was founded in the late 1960s. It is known for its effects pedals that were introduced in the 1970s and 1990s.
This company was the first to introduce and market stomp boxes that were affordable to bassists and guitarists. They also made and marketed one of the first looper and digital delay pedals.
This company makes pedals with different types of sound manipulation. They make them for the guitar, keyboard, bass, vocal, and other types of instruments. Along with this, the company makes other pedals. Some of these are the Frequency Analyzer and the Voice Box. They have also made a few small power amp pedals that can be used as a simple guitar amplifier.
The company stopped making pedals in the 1980s and then started selling vacuum tubes that were re-branded with its name for guitar amplifiers. They decided though in the 1990s to reissue the more popular pedals that they had because they were in demand. In the early 2000s they decided to add some new pedals to their line. Then in 2006 they introduced the smaller nano and micro effect lines using surface mount circuit components. The circuit board manufacture was outsourced and the pedals that were assembled in New York.
